SAN JUAN COUNTY, UT – A head-on crash on U.S. Highway 191 claimed the lives of a 59-year-old woman and an 83-year-old man Thursday.
This collision occurred before 1 a.m., KSL TV revealed. The driver of a white Ford Taurus was driving north on the highway while the motorist of the blue Nissan Sentra was traveling south. For reasons unclear, one of the drivers swerved out of their lane and collided.
Upon the head-on wreck, the driver of a Penske moving truck then hit the Nissan.
It was the 83-year-old man who operated the Ford and the 59-year-old woman who drove the Nissan. Both succumbed to fatal injuries at the scene, while the driver of the Penske moving truck was unharmed.
No other details are available.
