Rebar spills on I-15 in Cedar City after semi-truck rollover crash

CEDAR CITY, UT – A semi tractor-trailer hauling rebar had rolled over on I-15 North after the driver lost control of the vehicle, drifted off the road, and crashed around 4:30 p.m. Wednesday.

St. George News said there may have been an additional vehicle involved that played a role in the collision. However, this factor has not yet been confirmed. The semi-truck did come to rest in the center of the road, which did not affect the flow of traffic or result in lane closures.

The driver was spared from injuries, and crews were able to clear the collision by 10 p.m.
