One dead after car vs. cement truck crash in Lehi

LEHI, UT – One life was claimed in a crash between a car and a cement truck Saturday, KSL reported. 

The collision occurred around 6 a.m. on the 2090 block of North Redwood Road. Officials speculated that the cement truck driver drove through a red light and hit a car. 

The cement truck driver was heading south on Redwood Road and the car was heading east on Mountain View. 

The impact of the collision led the driver of the car to die from their injuries. 

It is unclear if the cement truck driver was injured.
