2-motorcycle crash in West Haven kills 18-year-old man

WEST HAVEN, UT – A two-motorcycle collision claimed an 18-year-old man’s life in the area of 3330 S Midland Drive around 9:15 p.m. Monday, Gephardt Daily reported.

A 18-year-old man was riding his motorcycle behind the SUV on the westbound lanes, when for reasons unclear lost control of his vehicle and crossed into the eastbound lanes. As a result, he struck another motorcycle.

Officials said the 18-year-old man suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. It appears the SUV driver and other motorcyclist sustained minor injuries as they received medical treatment on-site and were released from the scene.

More information will be posted as they become available.
