ECHO, UT – Fire crews were summoned to a vehicle fire that took place on westbound I-80 at milepost 170 near the Echo Canyon rest area Monday.
UDOT Traffic first reported this incident just before 11 a.m. The flames appeared to have been extinguished, and the scene was cleared.

There has been no official word on whether the fire was caused by mechanical issues or by a collision.
