Driver injured in collision with semi-truck in Capitol Hill

SALT LAKE CITY, UT – A man was sent to the hospital after a collision involving a semi-truck north in the Capitol Hill neighborhood on Saturday morning.

According to KSL, the crash occurred in the area of 800 North and 300 West at about 8:42 a.m.

The driver of the SUV, a 65-year-old man, was taken to an area hospital with injuries believed to be non-life-threatening. The semi’s driver was unhurt.

Investigators are working to establish and official cause of the crash. However, they believe speed was a factor.
