15-year-old pedestrian fatally struck by school bus in Sandy

SANDY, UT – A Jordan High School student was killed Friday afternoon when she was hit by a school bus, according to a report by KSL.

Police say the 15-year-old victim was struck by a bus carrying students from Hillcrest High School in the area of State Street and 8375 South at about 1 p.m.

The victim, whose identity is being withheld, suffered fatal injuries in the crash.

No injuries were reported from any of the 16 students that were on the bus when the crash occurred.
