Three injured, one dead in three-vehicle crash near Duck Creek Village

KANE COUNTY, UT – A three-vehicle crash claimed a seven-year-old boy’s life on State Route 14 Friday. 

The collision occurred near Duck Creek Village, St. George News reported. For reasons unknown, a GMC truck went over the centerline, which caused the vehicle to sideswipe a 2012 Ford F350 pickup truck with an attached trailer. 

Then the GMC collided head-on with a Kia Soul. 

Three were injured in the crash; one sustained critical injuries. It is unclear if the GMC driver remains in critical condition. 

The seven-year-old boy from the Kia Soul succumbed to his injuries and died. 

At the time of reporting, the area closed for clearance and has reopened since.
