RICHFIELD, UT – Speeding was a contributing factor in a rollover crash that happened on a dirt road near Richfield Tuesday.
According to DPS, a driver was suspected to be impaired when he drove at a high rate and lost control of his tan Hyundai Sonata before it overturned. One of the passengers, a 15-year-old boy, was trapped underneath the automobile.
The pinned victim suffered fatal injuries, while the two other occupants – a a 14-year-old boy and a 16-year-old boy – were hospitalized for non-life-threatening injuries.
It is unclear which boy was driving the car.
No other vehicles were involved.
