Woman in wheelchair struck, killed by cement truck in Logan

LOGAN, UT – First responders were called to the scene of a deadly pedestrian accident in Logan this morning.

According to Fox 13, the woman was hit at about 10 a.m. as she crossed Main Street near 200 North.

Logan City police say a cement truck was turning south from 200 North when it struck the unidentified woman, who was in a motorized wheelchair.

The victim suffered substantial injuries in the crash and died a short time later.

It is unclear if the driver of the cement truck will face charges in connection to the deadly crash.
