LINDON, UT – A driver of a Chevy Silverado with an attached trailer crashed into the back of a Suzuki SUV on I-15 Monday, resulting in a 21-year-old woman sustaining critical injuries.
According to KUTV, the driver of the Suzuki — the 21-year-old woman — had either stopped or slowed for traffic when she was struck by the Silverado motorist. The impact of that collision had caused the Suzuki to spin towards the right and roll over several times down an embankment before coming to rest and ejecting the woman. As a result, first responders transported her to a hospital for treatment.
The Silverado driver and the two passengers with him or her walked away from the collision unscathed. Officials have not yet indicated pending charges.
Updates will be posted as more information comes to light.
