UTAH COUNTY, UT – A 19-year-old man was critically injured, and a 20-year-old woman was killed in a two-vehicle collision in Saratoga Springs Monday.
The incident happened on Redwood Road when the driver, the 20-year-old woman, wanted to turn left into a gas station. As a result, the car was hit by a bus, East Idaho News reported.
The 19-year-old man was identified as Caden Simmons. He was transported to a hospital by helicopter for life-threatening injuries.
The woman was identified as Lauren Scott. Emergency responders declared her dead at the scene.
The students and bus driver were not hurt. So far, there have been no indications that the driver will face charges.
