WALLSBURG, UT – A motorcyclist’s life was claimed upon colliding with a white Prius along Deer Creek State Park around 6:30 p.m. Saturday.
As indicated in a report from TownLift Park City News, the driver of the white Prius stopped at a stop sign on Main Canyon Road, and the motorcyclist was approaching a curve.
After stopping at the stop sign, the Prius driver drove on State Route 189 and then collided with the motorcyclist traveling south.
The Prius driver and passenger were spared from harm, while the motorcyclist succumbed to fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The right back corner of the Prius sustained some damage.
Impairment and speed were not contributing factors in this collision. No other details are available. However, updates will be posted as information emerges.
