WASATCH COUNTY, UT – As of Friday, the Utah Department of Public Safety has identified the woman who died in a crash Monday on SR-40.
The woman was identified as Hao M. Kuo, 82, of Cottonwood Heights, Gephardt Daily reported.
The collision happened near the Strawberry Reservoir Marina. Kuo was making turning onto SR-40 from the Strawberry Reservoir Visitor’s Center when she collided with a semi-truck.
Kuo did not yield to the semi-truck and, as a result, was hit. The passenger with her, an 82-year-old man, was airlifted to a hospital for life-threatening injuries.
