SPANISH FORK, UT – Two people were sent to the hospital, and one person suffered fatal injuries after a two-vehicle crash on U.S. 6 Friday.
It is unclear what exactly prompted the collision, but the force of the wreck left the two occupants with non-life-threatening injuries, according to ABC 4.
Eastbound U.S. 6 was closed, while westbound U.S. 189 at milepost 180 was shut down. The lane closures prompted traffic delays and meant drivers were asked to seek alternative routes.
Officials have not shared which driver had the right of way, the contributing factors of the wreck, nor have they revealed the names of those involved in the collision.
Updates will be posted when more information comes to light.
