Truck crash with pole in West Valley City leads to power outages 

WEST VALLEY, UT – A driver of a truck was dumping a load of dirt in the area of 1200 W 3300 S and hit a utility pole, causing it to come down and resulting in several power outages. 

This single-vehicle collision occurred Wednesday evening, Gephardt Daily revealed. The force of the crash also led to small fires in the area and rising smoke as well. 

At the time of reporting, power crews were working diligently to restore power, and fire crews were working to extinguish the flames.
