Train slams into stalled semi-truck in Tooele

TOOELE, UT – First responders rushed to the scene after a train collided with a semi-truck near Tooele this morning, KSL reports.

Initial reports suggest the semi-truck stalled on the tracks near Canyon Road and Foothill Drive sometime before 10 a.m. The driver was unable to move the truck before it was hit by an coming Union Pacific train.

Fortunately, no injuries or fatalities were reported as a result of the crash.
