NORTH SALT LAKE, UT – After a car caught on fire on I-15 S, it led to lane closures and major delays seen toward Woods Cross Tuesday.
The incident was first reported after 8 a.m. and took place along 2300 North, also known as Warm Springs Road, as shown in a tweet from KSL Traffic.

In addition, the car accident prompted officials to shut down most lanes and only leave one left lane open.
The car was removed from the scene before 9 a.m., but traffic still snarled on southbound I-15.
It is unclear at what precise time the fire was put out, when the vehicle was removed from the interstate, or if the occupant was hurt. This information will be posted when it becomes available.
