3 kids, 2 adults hurt in T-bone crash in Cedar City

CEDAR CITY, UT – Five people were hospitalized after a crash between a white Kia sedan and a silver Infiniti sedan Tuesday. 

The collision occurred before 5:30 p.m. on State Route 56, according to St. George News

The driver of the Kia was turning left when she struck the driver of the Infiniti, who was traveling through the intersection amid a yellow light. This resulted in a T-bone-style crash. 

The Infiniti driver, a man, and the Kia driver, a woman, and three children from the Kia were taken to a hospital for unspecified injuries. 

The westbound lane was closed, and all travel lanes have reopened since.
