Teenager hospitalized for critical injuries after car-pedestrian crash in Centerville

CENTERVILLE, UT – A 16-year-old girl was seriously injured after getting hit by a car crossing the street Wednesday. 

The collision occurred around 11:30 a.m. at the 2025 block of Main Street, ABC 4 reported. 

Police said an 82-year-old woman drove the driver of a Toyota Highlander. The impact threw the girl 60 to 80 feet from the crosswalk. As a result, she suffered severe head, torso, and face injuries and was taken to a hospital in Murray. She is in critical condition. 

The driver remained at the scene and cooperated with the police.
