Teen dies days after truck accident in Springville

SPRINGVILLE, UT – The teen girl who was hit by a pickup truck while walking to Springfield High School on Tuesday has died.

According to KSL, the 17-year-old victim was attempting to cross in the 620 block of South Canyon Road, near E 400 Street when she was hit by an oncoming pickup truck.

The teen was rushed to a local hospital, where she tragically succumbed to her injuries on Thursday.

At this time, no charges have been filed in connection to the deadly crash.
