SUV driver fatally struck by semi-truck in Monticello

MONTICELLO, UT – A person’s life was claimed in a collision between an SUV and a tractor-trailer on U.S. 191 Saturday.

The crash happened at milepost 80, KUTV reported. It appears the semi-truck driver was unharmed, while the SUV driver died at the scene.

Officials did close the north and southbound lanes for investigation. Eventually, one road reopened.
