Several injured in Box Elder Co. bus crash on I-84

BOX ELDER COUNTY, UT – More than 21 people were hurt in a bus crash on I-84 around 4:30 a.m. Monday, FOX 13 Now reported. 

The bus driver was changing lanes and was speculated to have lost control of the steering wheel due to slick roads. This caused the bus to travel off course and overturn, landing on its side. 

The bus driver was belted and unharmed. 

Utah Highway Patrol said 33 people were on board; no seatbelts were available for the passengers.

Multiple people sustained unspecified injuries and were reported to be in stable condition. UHP said at least two people were critically injured.
