IRON COUNTY, UT – A driver of a semi-trailer that carried several cans of beer traveled too quickly on an SR-20 curve, causing the truck to overturn on its side and resulting in one getting hurt, first responders indicated.
This collision happened east of Interstate 15 Friday, according to St. George News. The force of the wreck caused the truck to skid along the right guardrail for 300 feet before it rolled over. As a result, many beer cans came pouring into the road, and crews took several hours to clean the scene.
Officials said the driver did not sustain injuries, but his passenger was hospitalized for minor injuries.
