Road raging episode leads to Salt Lake Co. 3-vehicle crash

SALT LAKE COUNTY, UT – Traffic delays lingered on I-15 South along 8600 South after a road-raging incident Thursday.

The collision occurred after 5 p.m., according to KSL TV.

A driver of a Ford 450 and a Mitsubishi Lancer were driving dangerously and were continuously cutting each other off.

The episode caused the Ford pickup truck driver to lose control of the vehicle and collide with a barrier before it came back into traffic and collided with another Ford pickup truck. The second Ford pickup truck had a trailer attached, which came undone and rolled over.

The driver of the Ford 450 and Mitsubishi driver will face charges for reckless driving.

Officials have not confirmed if the people involved were hurt or hospitalized.

Updates will be posted when they become available.
