Park City officer hurt after getting hit by semi-truck

PARK CITY, UT – A crash between a semi-truck and a Park City Police patrol vehicle was reported on U.S. Highway 40 Tuesday.

The collision occurred on the eastbound lanes around 7 a.m., KUTV reported.

For reasons unknown, the driver of the semi-truck lost control of his vehicle and collided with the patrol vehicle.

The police officer of the patrol vehicle sustained minor injuries and was taken to a hospital.

The semi-truck driver was unharmed.
