One man dead, another critically injured after collision on I-15 in Ogden

WEBER COUNTY, UT – One was critically injured, and one was left dead from a crash that happened on the I-15 in Ogden Tuesday.

A pick up truck with a trailer attached stopped on the left side of the road because the truck had a flat tire, KSL TV reported. The two men got out to take a look and were approached by a cement truck.

The driver of that cement truck said they were going to move the truck out of the road. The men walked back to their vehicle. Then they were hit by a pickup truck that swerved off the lane. As a result, one of the men was ejected over the other side of I-15.

The woman in the pickup truck sustained non-life-threatening injuries.

One man was hospitalized, where he remains in critical condition, and one man died from his injuries.

The crash is under investigation.
