One hospitalized, one dead from crash on 500 West, 620 West in Bountiful

BOUNTIFUL, UT – One was seriously injured, and one was left dead in a two-vehicle crash Friday. 

The collision occurred around 9:15 p.m. on 500 West and 620 South, according to KSL. The red car was driving with no headlights on at a high rate. 

The driver collided with a curb and lost a tire, which caused him to lose control of the steering wheel and hit another driver. 

The driver that was hit was hospitalized for severe injuries and was described to be in stable condition. 

The driver of the red car, whose name was not released, was an 18-year-old man. He was taken to a hospital, where he died from his injuries.
