One hospitalized after 2-pickup truck crash in St. George

ST. GEORGE, UT – A suspected medical episode prompted a two-pickup truck crash after 11 a.m. Monday, St. George News reported.

The collision occurred at the intersection of Bluff Street and Snow Canyon Parkway. A driver of a black GMC Sierra and a driver of a white GMC Sierra were waiting at the junction, where both north and southbound lanes had a red light.

Officials said the driver of the black pickup truck experienced a possible medical issue as he went through the intersection, and collided with the white GMC.

Both drivers wore seatbelts. The driver of the white pickup truck was unharmed, while the driver of the black pickup truck was taken to St. George Regional Hospital for unspecified injuries.

The driver of the black pickup truck was not cited. The city’s attorney’s office will review Monday’s incident.
