One dead following rollover crash near Riverside

RIVERSIDE, UT – A sideswipe and rollover crash at Utah 38 and Utah 30 claimed one life Tuesday.

According to KSL, a driver of a car traveling north and a driver of a truck going south sideswiped each other. As a result, the pickup truck swerved to the right lane, overcorrected to the left, and rolled over.

The driver of the car was spared from injuries. However, the impact caused the pickup truck driver to be thrown from his or her vehicle, was struck by the truck, and succumbed to deadly injuries.
