One dead after rollover crash in Grand County

GRAND COUNTY, UT – A driver was thrown from their vehicle and died after a rollover crash in Thompson Springs Friday.

The collision happened after 11 p.m. on I-70, according to ABC 4. The driver of an SUV was driving dangerously, which caused him or her to travel off course, overcorrect, and the SUV to flip over.

As of now, speeding and impairment appear to be potential contributing factors. The driver of the SUV succumbed to injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.

No other people or vehicles were involved in the collision.
