One dead after rollover collision in Juab County

JUAB COUNTY, UT – A man’s life was claimed in a rollover crash near Nephi Tuesday, KSL TV revealed.

The collision happened before 6:45 am on I-15 North. Utah Department of Public Safety speculated that speed and fatigue could have been contributing factors in the crash. In addition, the driver did not wear a seatbelt.

The man lost control of his van, which drove across the northbound lanes of the interstate. Shortly after, the driver was thrown from his vehicle.

Officials said he succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.

No other vehicles were involved in the crash, and the driver was the sole occupant of his van.

No further details are available.
