One critically injured, one dead from semi-truck, car crash in Wasatch County

WASATCH COUNTY, UT – One was injured, and one was left dead after a crash involving a car and semi-truck on SR-40 Monday. 

The collision occurred near the Strawberry Reservoir Marina, KSL News Radio reported. A semi-truck collided with the car after the driver of the car turned left from the marina. 

The semi-truck driver was injured. However, a woman, the driver of the car, succumbed to her injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. The passenger in the car, a man, was taken to a hospital for critical injuries. 

The area was closed and has since reopened.
