One critically injured in head-on crash on SR-30 near Logan

LOGAN, UT – One was hospitalized after a two-vehicle head-on collision near Logan on SR-30 Friday. 

The collision occurred around 2:15 p.m. on the 7000 block of West Valley View Highway, Cache Valley Daily reported. A driver traveling west intended to pass another driver, and hit an area of ice, and lost control of her car, which caused her to collide head-on with another vehicle heading east. 

The eastbound driver sustained minor injuries. The woman going west was pinned inside her car and extricated by first responders, and taken to a hospital for critical injuries.
