North Hwy 6 crash in Spanish Fork claims motorcyclist’s life

SPANISH FORK, UT – A motorcyclist was killed when he changed a lane on the 450 block of eastbound North Highway 6 and sideswiped the back of a pickup truck Saturday.

Gephardt Daily said the cause of the sideswiping, prompted another driver, traveling west on the highway, to also strike the motorcyclist. As a result, the motorcyclist was thrown from his bike and was pronounced dead at the scene at 12:15 p.m.

Spanish Fork Police have not released the motorcyclist’s name, only identifying him as a 34-year-old man.

Updates will be posted as they become available.
