No injuries reported in four-vehicle crash in Bluffdale

BLUFFDALE, UT – A three-vehicle crash on I-15 North led to lane closures and traffic delays for several hours Thursday.

A driver of a car came from 14600 South and merged, attempting to avoid an Amazon semi-truck that jackknifed. This resulted in a pickup truck rear-ending the car.

Troopers said the pickup truck was speeding, which could have been a factor in the crash. Then another speeding vehicle, a semi-truck, was carrying crude oil, which caused the driver of the semi-truck to collide with the Amazon truck.

The crude oil spilled, which led to closures and delays.

No one sustained severe injuries.
