No injuries reported after dump truck crashes into power lines in South Jordan

SOUTH JORDAN, UT – Road closures occurred for several hours after a dump truck crashed into power lines Wednesday.

The collision occurred at South Jordan Parkway and Grandville Avenue, FOX 13 Now reported.

The dump truck’s driver unintentionally left the truck bed up and drove through the intersection, which took the power lines down. As a result, several insulators were broken, and multiple poles were damaged. In addition, the TRAX train could not operate.

Due to road closures, drivers in the area were offered service from a bus bridge in the area.

The driver remained at the scene and cooperated with law enforcement.

There were no reports of injuries.
