Motorcyclist hurt after crash with car in downtown SLC

SALT LAKE CITY, UT – A Sunday afternoon crash between a car and a motorcycle sent a motorcyclist to a hospital. 

The collision took place around 3 p.m. at the intersection of 400 South and State Street on the TRAX train lines, Gephardt Daily reported. 

As indicated in the photo, the car sustained some heavy front-end damage while the motorcyclist was positioned right in front of the gray car. 

The motorcyclist was hospitalized for non-life-threatening injuries. 

There was no official word on what led to the crash.
