Man in his 60s injured after two-vehicle collision in Sandy

SANDY, UT – A man was critically injured after a two-vehicle crash on 10600 South Tuesday, KSL reported. 

A driver was traveling west on 10600 South and wanted to turn left onto 700 East. That is when he crashed into another vehicle driving east on 10600 South. 

The driver who was hit sustained minor injuries and was treated at the scene.  He or she remained at the scene and cooperated with the police. 

The driver, who turned left, was hospitalized for critical injuries. Police said he was a man in his 60s. However, they did not reveal his name nor indicate his current condition. 

Impairment or alcohol were not factors in Tuesday’s crash.
