Man hospitalized after pickup truck wreck in St. George

ST. GEORGE, UT – One man was sent to St. George Regional Hospital for unspecified injuries after a two-pickup truck crash on Sunset Boulevard Tuesday morning.

St. George News said this collision happened west of Valley View Drive. The specifics of what caused the wreck are not immediately clear. However, the impact of the crash led one to overturn on its side and trapped one person inside. As seen in the source’s photo, the crash had sent debris scattering on the road.

It is unclear if it was the trapped man who had to go to an area hospital or if it was another occupant involved.

Drivers on Sunset Boulevard were redirected to Westridge Drive or Valley View Drive. There has been no word on when the area will reopen and if the five to fifteen minute delays had died down.
