Man critically injured after Salt Lake City crash with tree

SALT LAKE CITY, UT – Speeding could have played a part in a single-vehicle crash with a tree before 1 a.m. Sunday. 

In a report from Gephardt Daily, the collision took place in the area of 980 S. 900 West.

It is unknown if the 20-year-old man was impaired when he lost control of his car and crashed into a tree.

No other occupants were involved. The man, whose name was not released, was taken to a hospital for critical, life-threatening injuries.
