BOX ELDER COUNTY, UT – A head-on crash claimed a 38-year-old man’s life on Tuesday, Dec. 20, 2022.
The collision occurred around 1 a.m. on State Route 30, according to KSL TV. A pickup truck driver was traveling on the westbound lanes when for reasons unknown, he drove into the eastbound lanes. As a result, the driver of a pickup truck hit the semi-truck head-on.
The semi-truck driver, a 24-year-old man, was taken to a hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.
The pickup truck driver was identified as Tyler Burgin of Mendon, Utah. Burgin succumbed to fatal injuries.
