Man, 29, dead following I-15 crash in Murray

MURRAY, UT – Snowy and icy roads led to a fatal crash on I-15 around 5:15 p.m. Wednesday, KSL reported.

The collision occurred along 5300 South. The driver’s rear tires on the Subaru lost traction, and the passenger car drifted into another lane and cut off a tow truck towing a vehicle.

The front of the tow truck then hit the driver’s side of the Subaru.

The tow truck driver was spared from harm. However, the Subaru driver, an unidentified 29-year-old man, succumbed to fatal injuries.
