Man, 19, later found dead after Bear River City crash

BEAR RIVER CITY, UT – A driver crashed into a ditch on SR-13 and was found dead half a mile from where the crash occurred Wednesday.

Officials said snowy and icy roads could have been the reason why the car drifted off course and came to rest in a ditch, and minimal damage, KSL reported.

The driver was identified as 19-year-old Samuel Slade, and his body was found on a side street near State Route 13.

Utah Highway Patrol is investigating the collision, which means additional information is unavailable at this time.

Still, details will be posted when they are confirmed.
