Hit-and-run driver fatally strikes cyclist in Poplar Grove 

SALT LAKE CITY, UT – A 59-year-old man died after he was struck by a hit-and-run driver while riding his bike in the Poplar Grove neighborhood Sunday. 

This collision occurred around 4:30 a.m. near the Redwood Road and Indiana Avenue intersection, Gephardt Daily revealed. 

First responders saw that the cyclist was lying on the ground. They administered life-saving measures, but the man succumbed to fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. 

Officials are investigating this fatal collision and have not released more information about this wreck or suspect, only stating that the driver continued to travel on Redwood Road North.
