Head-on crash in Wasatch County claims one life

WASATCH COUNTY, UT – Several were injured, and one life was claimed in a crash on Highway 40 Tuesday 

A driver of a Toyota Camry was traveling west, went over the eastbound lanes, and collided head-on with a GMC Yukon, according to ABC 4

Officials have not confirmed how many occupants were in the Yukon; however, UHP speculated there were five to seven people, all of whom sustained unspecified injuries. 

The driver of the Yukon was hospitalized for severe injuries, while the driver of the Camry succumbed to fatal injuries. 

The road in both directions will be closed until further notice.
