First responders called to T-bone crash on SR-18 in St. George

ST. GEORGE, UT – Two were pinned inside their white Prius after a two-vehicle collision happened Wednesday. 

The collision occurred around 10:15 a.m. on SR-18, St. George News reported. 

The driver of the white Prius was turning onto SR-18 from 5745 North when he was hit by a white and blue Chevy Silverado pickup truck. Officials described it as a “T-bone style” crash. 

The impact of the collision left the driver of the Prius and the passenger trapped inside their car. First responders extricated them.

The driver of the Prius sustained a broken neck and was taken to a hospital. It is unclear if the passenger was injured. 

The two people from the truck, the driver and the passenger, were unharmed. 

The weather could have been a contributing factor in the crash. However, this detail is unclear.
