Fire crews called to car fire before 3330 S in Salt Lake City

SALT LAKE CITY, UT – A car caught on fire on northbound I-15 just before 3300 S on Thursday afternoon. 

The incident was first reported before 3:15 p.m. and prompted two right lane closures, a tweet from UDOT Traffic showed. 

The roads are estimated to clear by 4:15 p.m. Drivers may want to consider alternative routes.
