Fatal crash reported on U.S. 6 in Spanish Fork

SPANISH FORK, UT – One life was claimed after a two-vehicle crash on U.S. 6 Wednesday night. 

For reasons unknown, a woman lost control of her vehicle, which went into eastbound lanes and was struck by a Ford pickup truck with a trailer, KSL reported. 

The pickup truck driver was unharmed; however, a passenger, an 11-year-old boy, was hospitalized for non-life-threatening injuries. 

The woman succumbed to fatal injuries.
