Driver suffers head injury after I-15 crash in Bountiful

BOUNTIFUL, UT – A 30-year-old woman suffered a head injury in an I-15 crash Wednesday, KSL reported.

One driver was heading north on I-15 and lost control of his or her vehicle, collided with a barrier, and had a tire come off. The tire went over into the southbound lanes and hit a Mazda sedan head-on.

The Mazda driver hurt her head and sustained non-life-threatening injuries. Officials did not confirm if the driver of the loose tire was injured nor if the Mazda driver was transported to a hospital.
